HAHN AT-G FOR MAIN ENTRANCE DOORS AND SIDE ENTRANCE DOORS
The Hahn AT-G is an improved successor model for lightweight main entrance doors and side entrance doors made of aluminium profiles. The 2-piece door hinge supports up to 90 kg and is adjustable in 6 directions. All adjustments are made on the hinged door leaf. In this way, the door’s height level can be adjusted from + 3 mm to – 2 mm. The horizontal adjustment range is ± 5 mm. The adjustment is infinitely variable, as needed. To relieve pressure, the sealing pressure can be reduced via a – 2.5 mm adjustment or increased via a + 2.5 mm adjustment. A high degree of pre-assembly reduces the processing time in the workshop. For flush-mounted profile systems and recessed situations from 3.5 mm – 13 mm, the Hahn AT-G is used on most profile systems used for main entrance doors. Two different widths of hinge bases are available for fastening to the frame. The hinge is mounted directly without any fastening plates in single and multiple chamber systems. The centre distance for all hinge variants is 68.5 mm (half measure 0) and has remained the same as the previous model.
Hahn VL-Band AT

The technical advantages of the Hahn VL-Band AT include faster processing, greater convenience on the building site and easy adjustability. The new, concealed hinge design for doors made of flush-mounted aluminium profiles is completely concealed inside the profiles.
The Hahn VL-Band AT supports, when two hinges are used, door leaves weighing up to 180 kg, depending on the profile section’s design. Since door profiles act differently as a result of their technical designs, Dr. Hahn has prepared corresponding processing and installation drawings as well as load tables for the system-related use of the VL-Band AT. Dr. Hahn recommends enquiring about the service by its Application Technology department prior to using the hinge. The hinge can be assembled using the specially designed supports. As a result, the door leaf is placed directly in its end position and does not require any additional support for mounting. The new hinge can be adjusted steplessly in 6 directions. This allows you to perfectly adjust every door element to the on-site conditions. The adjustment can be carried out by one person with the door leaf mounted.
Disassembly on the building site is especially easy. It is necessary to loosen only one safety screw per hinge in order to be able to remove the door leaf without any special tool.

Depending on the design of the profile sections, the 3-piece hinges are able to support doors weighing up to 120 kg, while the 2-piece version is able to bear up to 90 kg. These two series are fastened with the aid of self-drilling screws in the reinforcement of the frame profile with long pins to distribute the forces, acting on the hinge. In addition, Dr. Hahn also offers the option of pre-drilling into the prechamber alone – in other words only in the plastic – and supporting door leaves weighing up to max. 80 kg by using shorter pins and self-drilling screws.

The upper hinge part can be easily mounted and removed in any position without having to loosen the fastening screws. In case of a low door lintel the door leaf can be removed in the same way.

The new Rollenband AT is a hinge system that can be adapted to all common door frame systems. Its roller diameter of 20 mm meets the high design standards, which building owners and architects have for ensuring that hinges on their residential and commercial doors are as unobtrusive as possible. It can be adjusted in six directions. The adjustment takes place inside of the hinges. The well-designed hinge contour is retained even in case of extreme adjustment. The largely pre-assembled hinge is quick and easy to install.
A one-piece bearing pin made of stainless steel ensures a high level of stability. This is designed in such a way that the door can be easily removed even in case of a low lintel.
